Mouse-ear tickseed is a small, spreading groundcover blooming May-June with yellow flowers. Grows 6-10 inches tall. Best in moist to average soil and full to part shade. In the wild it is often found in wooded floodplains. The variety (sometimes listed as a cultivar) '“nana” is an especially short form of the plant. Zone 4-9 / unknown ecotype
