$8.50
The Grey Headed Coneflower is a tough customer. Loves poor soils, clay, drought, full sun to part shade and is fairly distasteful to deer. Cheery yellow flowers from June to August somewhat resemble the green-headed coneflower and echinacea. Grows 3-5 feet tall. Primarily a prairie plant it, like echinacea, fits into eastern gardens and landscapes well. Can seed around to form large patches. Seeds relished by Goldfinches! Zone 3-8. Unknown ecotype.
