This is a low creeping perennial of sand-dunes, dry sandy clearings and thin sunny pinewoods. Preference is for full to part sun and dry, poor, sandy or gravelly soil. Yellow flowers bloom over a long period of time from May to September. Plants grow 2-6 inches tall. Best for rock gardens and seaside gardens. Zone 5-9 / NC ecotype // Seed packet, about 100 seeds. Germination requirements: 60 days cold, moist stratification.
