Wavyleaf aster is found in dry woodlands and woods-edges. It is often blooming very late, even after several frosts. The leaves can have an attractive purple color which occurs at the same time as blooming. The plants habit is long and arching and sometimes even reclines on the ground. Grows 2-4 feet tall. White to blue flowers appear from October to november. Preference is for full sun to part shade and average to dry soils. Zone 3-9 / VA ecotype. // Seed packet, about 50 seeds.
