Sun to part shade; Average to dry sandy soil; Found in floodplain forest edges and thin woodlands. This tallish skullcap forms loose patches and is probably best in bigger gardens and places where it can be allowed to spread. Mixes nicely with scarlet bee-balm and mountain mint.
