Silphium mohrii (Mohr's Rosinweed)
Silphium mohrii (Mohr's Rosinweed)
$10.50
Mohr’s Rosinweed bears a superficial resemblance to Silphium glutinosum. Both have a pale yellow sunflower-like flower June-August, a shorter stature (topping out around 5 feet tall) and lightly downy leaves. But Mohr’s rosinweed is much hairier and lacks S. glutinosums stickyness. Preference is for full to part sun and dry, rocky soil. Zone 5-8. TN ecotype.
