This sedge is a taller, fine textured, clump forming plant of dry upland woods. Beautiful sedge that looks great with broad leaf woodland wildflowers like alumroot, wild geranium, woodland goldenrods and asters. Grows 10-15 inches tall. Green-Yellow flowers late spring (May-June). Unknown ecotype. Zone 4-8.
