Button Bush is a large, thicket-forming, shrub that inhabits wet meadows, river and lake-sides, and swamps. Round white flower clusters appear in the Summer from June to July. They attract hordes of pollinators including butterflies! Shrubs grow 6-12 feet tall and about as wide. Good for stabilizing soil along a creek or river. Yellow fall foliage. Button bush is a great choice for pollinator gardens, rain gardens, and stream-bank restoration. Zone 5-9. VA and Commercial ecotypes as available.
