Fairy Wand is a lily-like plant that grows in moist hardwood forests usually among oak trees. It has a basal rosette of leaves from which a flowering stalk between 1 and 2 feet tall emerges in the spring between April and May. Flowers are white and are either Male of Female. Preference is for part to full shade and average to moist organic rich soils. Plants sold are seed grown and not separated by sex. Zone 5-9. Unknown ecotype.
