White gentian is a striking autumn flower for those looking for something that is not an aster or a goldenrod. Preference is for full to part sun and moist soils. Growing 1-2 foot tall and topped with white, bottle-gentian type flowers that remain tightly closed for the most part. Bumblebees must force their way in to pollinate it.
