Part shade; average to rich moist well-drained soil;  The powder blue giant cultivar is slightly larger than typical at about 6-10” tall. It was discovered in the woods near Litchfield Kentucky by Samuel Norris. Large beautiful 3” light blue flowers are nestled among the arching leaf blades in spring; a very lovely ground cover; blooms April-May; zones 3-8; KY ecotype.
