Sheep laurel is an evergreen creeping shrub of acidic bogs throughout New-England, Canada and some coastal and mountain bogs in the Mid-Atlantic. Grows 1-6 feet tall. Preference is for full sun and moist, acidic soil. In cultivation it will do best in a rich organic soil that is moist, acidic and sheltered from winter winds. Pink flowers June-July. Zone 3-6 / MI ecotype
