Full sun to light shade; rich, well-drained soil; heroin to butterflies and sphinx moths; this stunningly gorgeous, to die for monarda has hairy mildew-resistant foliage and a multitude of bright, fucshia flowers 1.5-2” across; plant 3’-6’ tall; blooms July-Aug; zones 5-8. Discovered as a chance seedling by Peter Heus of Enchanters Garden.
