This selection of Carolina Phlox was discovered in Alabama. It blooms earlier (May-June) than typical Carolina phlox and is very clean and resistant to mildew. It has light pink flowers and grows around 2 feet tall. Can be vigorous and will spread to form a nice low patch. Preference is for part shade to full sun in average garden soil. Zone 6-8. AL ecotype (clone cultivar). (photo is wild form but practically identical to Kim)
