This mountain mind is difficult to destinguish from P. incanum and pycnanthemoides. It has a greater affiliation with dry shade and a more arching and less aggressive habit. Grows 3-4 feet tall and prefers dry semi-shady woodlands. Zone 6-8. Unknown ecotype.
