This mountain mint is tops in attracting pollinating and other beneficial insects. The plant grows 2-3’ tall with silvery leaves at the top of the stem with white flowers in June-August. Can spread aggressively forming large patches so make sure to give it room. In the wild it has a preference for moist sandy soils in open sun. But it readily adapts to almost any soil and can take a little shade. Zone 4-8. WV ecotype.
