Boneset is a common plant of wet meadows, swamps and moist woodland edges. Grows 3-5 feet tall with the younger upper leaves often tinged with a metallic purple sheen. The leaves join together and surround the stem. White flowers from July to September attract lots of pollinators and other beneficial insects. Plants prefer moist sunny soil. Zone 3-8.
