Ten-petal sunflower forms large expansive patches. Not for the small garden. But a great naturalizer for large areas and difficult spots. Grows 4-5' tall and spreads rapidly by underground roots. Large yellow sunflowers appear in August and September. Seeds are relished by goldfinches and other birds. Zone 4-8. PA. ecotype.
