Broadleaf Barbara’s Buttons are a beautiful, rhizomatous, perennial of moist woodlands in the south-east. Fairly rare but vigorous in it’s growth, it makes a nice groundcover to mix with ferns and other larger woodland perennials. Flowers appear May-June and are white with a pink blush. Attracts numerous butterflies and bees. Grows 12-16 inches tall. Preference is for part shade and rich, well-drained soil. Zone 5-8. AL ecotype. // Seed packet, about 50 seeds. Germination requirements: 60 days cold, moist stratification.
