This is a clump-forming sedge of dry shady woodlands. Growing 10-12 inches tall and preferring full shade and dry well-drained soil. Dark green arching leaves with small green-yellow flowers in the spring (April-May). Mixes nicely with other spring woodland plants. zone 4-8 / unknown ecotype
