The Carolina wild petunia (not a real petunia) is an easy grow-anywhere perennial that mingles well with other plants and is adaptable to just about any kind of soil or light condition. Typically it grows in sandy soils in full sun to light shade. It grows 1-2' tall and blooms off and on from June to September. Zone 5-9. WV ecotype.
