This is a dainty little aster-like plant that loves dry thin soils along creeks or in mountain outcrops. Short and wispy it grows little more than 1 foot tall. White confetti-like daisy flowers appear from late July through September. Full sun and dry thin soils are preferred. pairs well with other small asters and goldenrods. Zone 3-8; VA ecotype
