This is a short spreading relative to mints. It inhabits rich, moist woodlands and wetlands in dappled shade. Large heart-shaped leaves on a 1-2' tall stalk topped with light pink flowers from June to July. Can be aggressive. Zone 5-7. WV ecotype // Seed packet, about 50 seeds. Germination requirements: 60 days cold, moist stratification.
