This stunning woodland perennial grows in rich woodlands usually with a neutral PH. 1-2 foot tall arching stems emerge in April and have drooping pale yellow flowers at the tip. These flower petals twist giving the appearance of yellow confetti. Flowering occurs in April-May. Preference is for full to part sun and rich, woodsy, non-acidic soil. Zone 4-9 / unknown ecotype
