This vervain prefers sunny, dry, rocky soils that are typically calcareous in nature. Grows 2-3 feet tall and is very narrow and upright in form. Will not do well in close proximity to other plants. Barrens, outcrops, stony hillsides, rock-gardens are best places for it. Pale white to pink/lavender flowers appear from June to September. Zone 4-8 / OH ecotype.
